13 March 2024 | 5:30 PM CET | Stuttgart-Vaihingen
Developing and scaling up low-carbon technologies requires significant innovation across various sectors, including transportation, energy and manufacturing. Companies face multi-layered challenges that are often seen as costs rather than opportunities. Simulation can play a crucial role in product development on the path to decarbonization by providing a virtual environment to model and optimize various aspects of product design, manufacturing processes, supply chains, and lifecycle impacts. But are we already utilising the existing potential of simulation or is simulation firmly anchored as a strategic element for achieving the company's sustainability goals? Together with you and our experts, we will discuss opportunities, drivers and obstacles in (virtual) product development and explore the question of how simulation can be used to meet decarbonisation targets.
