The automotive industry faces major challenges. The life cycles of vehicles and other products are getting shorter. At the same time, product complexity increases. Trends such as electromobility and autonomous driving influence each other and represent new development areas for OEMs and suppliers. Systems Engineering is an approach that helps to make development steps more manageable and traceable. It aims to counteract the exponential increase in organizational and procedural steps.
