[exclusive for asc(s members and invited guests | event language: German]
The Württemberg Automobile Club (WAC) has been established by the automobile pioneers Gottlieb Daimler, Wilhelm Maybach and Robert Bosch in 1898. Following the traces of these innovative minds the Automotive Simulation Center Stuttgart exclusively invites its members to the 3rd Fireside Talk.
The automotive industry faces major challenges. The life cycles of vehicles and other products are getting shorter. At the same time, product complexity increases. Trends such as electromobility and autonomous driving influence each other and represent new development areas for OEMs and suppliers. Systems Engineering is an approach that helps to make development steps more manageable and traceable. It aims to counteract the exponential increase in organizational and procedural steps. Our Fireside Talk offers the opportunity to show how Systems Engineering can positively influence virtual vehicle development as well as to discuss obstacles that have to be overcome and steps that are yet to be taken.
