cooperative event of Automotive Solution Center for Simulation e.V., OWL ViProSim e.V. and VDC Fellbach w.V.
The Symposium Driving Simulation - SDS brings together industrial and academic experts from the fields of virtual driving simulation, ADAS sensor technology and autonomous driving. Our format offers a familiar environment for networking and the presentation of scientific approaches, application-oriented results and state-of the art technologies. The 7th edition SDS is planned as hybrid live event: participants can join the conference and exhibition in Paderborn or follow and interact virtually. The focus of the event is on technical challenges, latest research approaches and state of the art simulation processes. The organizers want to offer the idustrial and academic community a better technological access and possibilities for deeper exchange and future collaborations. We offer start-ups and public funded projects a platform for professional exchange, dissemination and the development of their business relationships.
On the way to autonomous driving, virtual development methods are becoming increasingly important. The rapidly increasing product complexity and the interaction of the vehicle with a connected environment lead to a multidimensional test matrix of hitherto unknown dimensions. It is obvious that in order to cope with these demanding tasks, a partial shift from real testing to the hybrid / virtual world is necessary in order to develop safely, reproducibly and efficiently. Simulation methods in combination with driving simulators are a key technology in this respect. Here, too, continuous research and further development of virtual test methods is necessary to provide engineers with reliable and credible simulation processes.
Live expert talks and highlight topics bundled in an unique format and community.
Discuss latest technologies and future challenges with other experts and gain new impulses for your daily business.
Networking with end users, technology providers and researchers.
Technology providers and associations present thir technologies and services at exhibition booths.
The event is aimed at
in the field of virtual development and validation of highly automated driving functions, sensors and driving simulator technologies.
Registration opens in January 2021.
Would you like to contribute to our conference programme? We would be pleased to receive your abstract (max. 3000 characters excluding title, authors and pictures) in one of the following three categories:
CATEGORY A - SCIENTIFIC PAPER & LECTURE
Present your scientific achievements in a scientific paper and a 25 minute presentation. After acceptance of the abstract you will receive more information about the preparation of the scientific paper. The scientific paper will be published.
CATEGORY B - INDUSTRIAL SOLUTION LECTURE
Present your challenges, development approaches and latest technologies and services to our expert audience in a 25 minute presentation. The abstract will be published.
CATEGORY C - START-UP OR PROJECT PITCH
This category offers start-ups and publicly funded collaborative projects the opportunity to generate more attention for their initative. In a short pitch presentation (10min) you can give a summarizing overview. The abstract will be published.
All submitted abstracts are evaluated and selected by a technical expert commitee. Please send your abstract informally to email@example.com until 29 January 2021. Participation for speakers is free of charge. The proceedings are published as a digital symposium booklet.
With our sponsoring and exhibition packages, you can reach the decision-makers and top experts of the global driving simulation community and thus ensure even more visibility for your company.
Our sponsorship offers will be available here shortly.
